BITA celebrates its first year as a HomeDesk member of the Hive Enterprise Centre!
“I’m so happy to be working at the HIVE, it offers an amazing space for sharing ideas, and of course it is ideal to be able to see and talk to some of our members on a daily basis. I’m looking forward to working with more members at the HIVE, and helping them expand their business.”
Laura Watkins – Operations Manager, BITA
The British and Irish Trading Alliance celebrate one year of being a member of the Hive Enterprise Centre in May 2017. Laura Watkins, Operations Manager of BITA, works from a HomeDesk in the Hive Collaboration space.
BITA is a not-for-profit that helps to promote and grow SMEs across the UK and Ireland, and create and strengthen ties between both nations. The organisation also provides business support through its membership programme; a membership which has grown as a direct result of taking up office space within the Hive Enterprise Centre.
BITA was set up in 2012 to assist Irish and British businesses expand, and to act as a ‘business matchmaking’ organisation at their many networking events. They also work to create a community that shares contacts and expertise.
Since Laura started working at the Hive fellow members Bernard Michael Consultancy, Terra Firma 360 and T M O Mullane Associated Ltd have all joined the British and Irish Trading Alliance to reap the benefits.
BITA actively networks within the Hive to welcome new members and acts as an introducer to outside organisations.
