Housed in the Old Library, the iconic 1960’s building was a visionary example of the classic architecture of the time. For decades it was both the focal point and educational facility of 1000’s of local people through books and learning. So it is the fitting choice to house the Hive on it’s journey as a place of communication and learning still, but now as Techcity-on-Sea!

Mark Kass - Founder & CEO
Mark’s career is built on working for, as and with start-ups since he left college at the end of the last century. This has made sure entrepreneurship and small business survival and growth is firmly ingrained in his DNA and in all businesses he works with.
He worked for one of the UK’s oldest enterprise agencies where he directed business support operations in East London and subsequently became a Small Business Ambassador for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Having spent a stint working for a couple of large corporates as their in house “social entrepreneur” and starting up and handing over one of East London’s premier enterprise centres in partnership with local authority, Mark launched our parent company Enterprise4Good, as a not-for-profit social enterprise, in late 2014.

If ever I can help you and you organisation, I will!
When I’m not here at the Hive you can catch me traversing down a mountain on some skis in a snowy part of the world or jogging along Southend sea front. Stephanie Corder - Customer Service Coordinator
I am an experienced secretary/admin assistant with over 35 years of office experience, mainly in the professional world. I am experienced in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have been the Personal Assistant to the CEO of a firm of Liability Adjusters.
My main interests outside of work are reading and watching sport. I am an avid crime novel reader and use the opportunity to pit my wits against the fictional detective. I am happy watching practically any sport, except boxing, but my favourites are football cricket and tennis. I have followed Manchester United for many years, starting when George Best was in the team and a particular draw for a female teenager!
I am also particularly interested in history and find it fascinating to see the effects of events in the past on current thinking. This, together with changes in the social landscape, makes a fascinating world. I find people interesting in themselves and enjoy working as part of a team.To find out more about Stephanie view her LinkedIn profile
